We thank you for your interest in our gowns. The high quality of Eggert gowns originates from three generation and more than 130 years of experience in custom tailoring. Meticulous tailoring characterises all our liturgical garments and vestments.
A gown made by Eggert is recognised by the fabric, fitting and overall finest custom work. Our gowns come with the following by default:
- individual cutting of the shoulder section (to be worn with or without jacket underneath)
- wraparound fixed collar
- particularly hardwearing keyhole buttonhole
- hand-pulled and evenly roulette drapes on the yoke
- buttons sewed-on by hand
- piped pockets
- name embroidered without surcharge by request
Furthermore, every new gown appertains a hanger, auxiliary fabric and buttons together with care instructions free of charge.
Ladies gowns are optionally with a white linen collar or Geneva band available.
Even after years it is possible to adjust or clean the gown on reasonable price as well as the refurbishing of older gowns.
Of course, we visit theological seminaries on site and counsel vicars on the purchase of the initial gown outfit. At our visit we inform about various gown designs and fabric qualities, fastening possibilities for Geneva bands and a lot more. Moreover, we take various exemplary gowns with to feel and fit, and show tippets and other articles, which are necessary for future service.

Certainly, we offer vicariate classes discount for collective orders, which are staggered as follows:
From 10 participating vicars on, you are eligible for a 10% discount on the gown, embroidered name inside the gown and a Geneva band without embroidery free of charge.
From 15 participating vicars on, you are eligible for a 12% discount on the gown, embroidered name inside the gown and a Geneva band without embroidery free of charge.
From 20 participating vicars on, you are eligible for a 15% discount on the gown, embroidered name inside the gown and a Geneva band without embroidery free of charge.
We understand, that financial means and the wish for a pleasant and premium gown are sometimes not consistent with each other. Therefore, we offer young professionals various instalment payment options, which we introduce during our visit on site.

The classic. Premium main quality for many years of service. Fine opaque fabric, with precious silky lustre, classy appearance, crease-resistant. 100% pure new wool.
Art. 2000 – Microfibre – 599.00 EUR
(Stand-up collar only available for Prussian and Hanoverian gown)
The practical. Very hardwearing and crease-resistant, woollen and silky feel, fine yarn, sandwashed, air-permeable, dries quick, withstands backpack carrying. Supplementary features are not available!
Art. 1060 – Trevira – 657.00 EUR
The everlasting. Solid, stout and hardwearing fabric, equally suitable for indoor and field service, highest quality synthetic fibres, likewise available in white. 45 % new wool / 55 % Trevira linen weave.
Art. 100 – Cool Wool – 671.00 EUR
The light. For indoor service or other occasions, where an airy fabric is needed. Gaberdine, Cool Wool, comfortable light weighted, reliable quality. Premium merino wool, 100% pure new wool

Supplementary features – 55.00 EUR surcharge
Your gown is additionally provided with: 2 reach-throughs, 15cm silk-lined sleeves and horsehair padding inside the yoke and collar (instead of half linen).
